“It is just a mild cold”

I could list the million medical reasons why getting a ‘mild cold’ is dangerous for me, but I do not think it is necessary.

NO ONE WANTS YOUR COLD.

Noone.

How is it ok to decide that it is fine to make lots of people poorly, ruin their week, destroy holidays, wreck parties?

Keep your germs to yourself.

If someone opens a window, in attempt to clean the air, do not shut it because you are cold, because you are poorly. Colds flourish in warm air. Keep the window open.

It is not even bad ‘social ettiquette’.

It is just selfish and wrong.

Don’t even get me started on people who hold babies or play with children when contagious, or visit elderly or vulnerable people.
