Water
I have so much to say here.
Firstly I do not recall EVER drinking water as a child.
No bottles
I do remember those horrible plump copper jugs…metally tasting water…BLEURGH…no thank you
TBC….
but drink water
drink more water
Ok - UPDATE
Water
Oh my goodness, four weeks later and guess who is drinking lots and lots of water? ME
I have started an app and every time you drink water the Blob turns green (assuming good), confetti bursts all over your screen and the Blob celebrates by doing a blobby dance and clapping.
I am LOVING THIS.
Thank you Green Blob.
Then it gives you information about why that was such a good thing to do. Wow, I am needing this positively positive reinforcements. If I lose my menobelly by drinking lots of water I will be very happy.
Things I have learned about me;
-Water can hide hunger pangs
-Water can weaken the desire to have wine
-going to the toilet a million* times a day is really irritating but I do feel healthier
-water is more fun to drink out of a Glug Jug, especially when it spits.
-my reflexologist can actually tell when I have been drinking water all week and not just downing a pint before seeing her
*probably an extra two toilet visits than usual
Actually of this is a lie, I do drink water.
I have been drinking herbal teas for years, after a dear friend brought some posh herbal tea bags back from a ski trip for me. Little material bags with dried herbs in. New obsession started, I do have a herbal tea stand, and severla draws of boxes!!
I then treated myself to a beautiful cast iron tea pot as an inheritance present from my parents, thanks mum and dad.
I LOVE it
I love the Pukka Teas and have a huge collection of them, including left overs from last year’s advent calendar - I like the quirky flavours, these are my favourites;
Love - Chamomile, Lavender and Rose | Perfect For Uplifting Spirits
Relax - Infusion With Chamomile, Cardamon and Fennel | Perfect For Calming
Peace - Infusion With Chamomile, Spearmint and Ashwagandha | Perfect For Calming & Sleep
The herbal teas set I first bought. My lovely tea pot

My beautiful friend Melissa crocheted me this gorgeous creature that I call Owlbert to protect my lovely tea pot
